Update and some thankfulness

I love Thursdays. Not only do some pretty cool shows come on this night such a Big Bang Theory and Grey's Anatomy, but probably the most important it is thankful Thursday. It is one day each week that I purposely set out to think about all my blessings. I am going to share some of them with you, but first a small update on my day.

We had our first visit today from our foster support care worker.
I was so nervous.
I ran around cleaning the house like a mad woman today. On the plus side, my house is now really clean. :)

The visit went really well. I learned a ton of information and still have so much to go through. I am looking forward to taking some time to just sit down and read it all.
Our criminal record checks are ordered and we sent in our child protection checks.
The end of October is when our classes are.

I am getting really excited!

I am thankful for God being by my side today during this meeting. I was so nervous before hand, but when she got there, I calmed right down and really enjoyed the visit.

I am thankful for a hubby that worked so hard yesterday at his 'job' and then came home and worked here for another 4 hours.

I am thankful that our porch if finally finished. It looks amazing and I am so excited to use it now. It looks cleaner and more open.

I am thankful for my wonderful daughter who has been my photographer this week while I was making crafts.

I am thankful that this cooler weather has gotten rid of the flies. LOL

I am thankful that although we have had some pretty chilly mornings, we had an amazing September and I believe most farmers were able to get their crops off.

I am thankful that I live in a place where I can get views of this:

Or that I can see God's beauty like this:

I'm linking up today with Lisa.

  1. Funny that we both had photog daughters this week! :)

I'm so glad your home visit went well. We have friends who were recently approved as foster parents and now have twin 15 year-old girls!
