Crazy, thankful and happy

It has been a crazy last couple of weeks. We have been busy around here trying to get ready for winter which we know is coming fast. In fact it snowed already. It won't stay yet but with temps at -10C when I got up this morning, it is reminding me again we are running out of summer.

So not only have we been busy around the yard, and house, but I have also had the crafting bug as of late.
Here are a couple previews on things that I am working on:
Can you guess what I am making with this? Hint I use hot glue, spray paint and sticks.

What about this? Hint missing is also paint and string.
Stay tuned, I am hoping to finish these and have the pics up with tutorials early next week.
This is my kitty experiencing the new snow again. Last year was her first winter and this summer she lived outside. Yesterday she wasn't to keen on going out there.

She decided to try it quick. I should have taken a picture of all her wipe outs as she isn't used to the slipperiness yet.

I am so thankful today for the crisp fresh air that is early winter.
The beauty of freshly fallen snow.
I am thankful for being married to a wonderful man for the past 21+ years.
I am thankful that although our lives are still in a huge turmoil with work we are still remaining strong and united together.
I am thankful for a great talk with my beautiful daughter this morning. I think that we may finally have resolved some issues.
I am thankful for my bible studies that are helping me walk closer to God.
I am finding blessings galore on that journey.
I am thankful for past friendships that were really hurt that are now starting to heal.
I am thankful for great friends that are willing to help out whenever we need.

I realized as I was writing this thankful list how incredibly blessed I am. When I started today I thought I was going to be hard pressed to be able to find even one thing and than realized as I was making the list that I didn't want to stop writing them down.

Thank you God for all these blessings!!!

I am linking up today with Lisa. Please take some time and check out what everyone is thankful for. You will be glad you did. :)

  1. Isn't it amazing how you can get on a roll of listing the good things?! :) And you found some great ones!

I'm anxious for snow. We've had a couple of frosty days, but I'm ready for full-blown winter. I'm the odd duck, I know. Most people prefer spring. :)

I'm so glad you linked up again today!
