To say that this week has been eventful would be putting in mildly. The first of the weeks events were crazy enough, but then I talked to my parents today and my 83 year old Mother has had a very bad arthritis flare up and has temporarily lost the use of her right leg. My parents are still living independently so this is a big of a struggle for them. However in the midst of everything I am doing my best to remain thankful.
I am thankful for really so much.
I am thankful that already my husband has two job offers one that looks VERY promising.
I am thankful that through it all he has remained very strong for this family and is the one comforting others.
I am thankful that I have a wonderful GOD who is there when I need HIM so badly.
I am thankful that I wonderful children who are growing up (way to fast) into wonderful adults.
I am thankful that I am getting my energy back and the desire to actually do stuff again.
I am thankful that in less then a week we will have great friends come for a visit.
I am thankful for the rain as I am thankful for the sun.
I hope most everyone else's week was much calmer and uneventful.
Have a great weekend!!
I am linking up today with Theresa at Red Oak Lane and with Brandy at The Marathon Mom.
What a beautiful thankful list! :-) I will keep your mom's health and your husband's job prospects in my prayers! I hope you have a good weekend. Thanks so much for visiting and for your kind comments.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lisa!! Both for visiting as well and for your prayers. It is weird how calm I feel with all this chaos in my life right now. I am letting HIM lead. :)
DeleteI am glad that you are thankful for so much. Life is so much better when we have a positive outlook. I am blessed that we are going to be moving to a new house. God is just so good. Be blessed! Lauren, lholmes79.wordpress.com
