3 in 30 update

Well as most of you know by now last week passed in a blur. I never even focused on my goals.
This week...much better.
It is amazing how much a person can accomplish when their mind is not in a constant state of fogginess. Now if I could just get rid of this constant headache...
Anyway here is my progress for the month.
1. Keep the house clean.
This week has been way better. I am working hard to make sure that the dishes are always done and that laundry is kept up. My house still isn't visit friendly but at least it is not condemn-able. LOL

2. Make snacks and healthy food choice.
Again this week is WAY better. Although last week I did eat fairly healthy I just didn't eat much at all.
This week I roasted a chicken, focused on salads and veggies. Made a pile of healthy snacks for me and my daughter and feeling much better about my choices and what I have been able to provide for us.

3. Keep drinking the water.
This one has had its ups and downs. This past Sunday I realized that I had only pee'd in the morning and again just before bed. Yep bad bad Sherri. When I realized that I started to drink the water. I still need to consume more but at least I am actually going to the bathroom more often now.
Now as we head into another busy weekend of dance I need to focus on this even more.

I am linking up this week with 3 in 30 weekly challenge and Michelle at Caffeinated Randomness

  1. Sounds like this week is going much better for you...certainly much less sickness and stress! That's such a good idea about having healthy snacks in your home. We're trying to use up what we have on hand here and then are going to make a switch to healthier eating. Looking forward to the change!

    1. This week is much better. It is amazing what one can accomplish with a clear head. I have also been trying to resist while we are at dance competitions to just run out and grab something. So far so good.
Good luck on your change. It feels so awesome once you do make the change.

  2. Good job on the eating better! Yes keep up that water intake. I have found it helps me to keep an insulated water thermos with me. I like my water cold. Good luck.

    1. Thank you. It is not always easy for sure. I also prefer my water cold but really will drink it anyway but warm. Have a great weekend.

  3. Good job!! I wish I could boast about healthier eating this week. We brought home a couple of bags of comfort from the golden arches after we did our grocery shopping. I'm with you on trying to drink more water, and not quite there, either. I'm not going to mention where I am with keeping the house clean.

    1. LOL Jeanine. For me it is baby steps. Sometimes one forward and three backward. But I believe if you still keep trying to go forward you will win. :)

    1. Bahahahaha Michelle. If I am coming to your house it isn't to clean. It is so we can visit and get to know each other. :) Maybe we could clean your house together. LOL

  6. Good job!! Thank you for an inspiring post.
Its funny how we take for granted something as simple as drinking water more regularly than anything else. I keep a good size thermos with me, to drink throughout the day and it does make me feel more energized than anything (though a little spritz of fresh lime or lemon in it, helps give it flavor, lol).

    1. I enjoy lemon in my water as well. It really helps me when I am in restaurants as I am picky about my water and the lemon can disguise it. :)

  7. You are making great progress! It's so hard to keep a house picked up all the time...some days I think all I do is pick up Legos and trains :) Kudos on the water - clicking glasses with you!

    1. 'Clink' right back at you. It is hard some days. Especially when you are running all the time. One would think when you are never home the house would stay clean. LOL
